As this was my first exchange, I was nervous, just as I was when I first joined your program a year ago. I was sure that no one living in such an exciting city as London would ever want to come to my small, modest home off-the-beaten track in Florida, but after speaking to you personally by phone, I felt confident, paid the fee and had an offer within 6 weeks. Almost a year later I am writing to you from the home of that first offer, the home of a now dear and true friend.
To those thinking of joining. Set aside any preconceived notions of income and standard of living and just trust your instincts. Develop a rapport with potential swap mates you feel drawn to, and then, enjoy your vacation!

"We were in New Zealand for 2 months. The first 10 days, we exchanged with a lovely kiwi family who made actually a world round trip. It was not a simultaneous exchange, and then, country cottage and in Paris and are very exciting to help them to discovering our country. Through this experience, we win some friends from the other part of the world. The 2 last weeks, we exchanged again with people from the North island, and were in their home during the time they were in our in Paris. We feed the cat, and used their car. It was also a wonderful experience and although we didn't meet them physically, they are now friends and we still keep the contact by e-mail.
